Case Study: network add-on for home users
About three years ago, a Texas manufacturer offered us a network add-on for home users which would be marketed through broadband internet providers.
Knowing the large telcos in Germany weren't far enough in the development cycle, we recommended the manufacturer wait.
One year later, we began marketing and, once again taking advantage of timing, were able to quickly introduce the product through pilot installations in the big telcos in Europe.
Countries which finally went with the product were: France, Italy, part of Germany, Luxemburg and Portugal. Annual sales of eight figures is the result of patience, good timing and industry expertise.
